The subsea engineering sector continues to be one of Scotland’s true global success stories. Although predominantly driven by oil and gas activity, such skills and know-how will have increasing applications across a range of sectors and the opportunities for future expansion are considerable.
Scottish Enterprise has put increased focus on supporting the subsea engineering sector in recent years and published their action plan in 2017.
To help kick off Subsea Expo, this business breakfast event provided an opportunity to hear about some of the recent support Scottish Enterprise has provided to the industry and what SE have planned for the future . In addition, there were some guest company speakers covering topics and providing insight on the internationalisation agenda, including our developing relationship with markets like Japan and Norway, and the importance and opportunities that diversification provides.
There was also opportunity to ask questions and find out how Scottish Enterprise can help your organisation to take advantage of future growth opportunities.
