Late Life Management of Subsea Systems at Offshore Europe
06 September 2019
This session took place in the Decom Zone at Offshore Europe.
With focus on Maximising Economic Recovery, the UK underwater sectors play a crucial role in extending the life of operations. Decommissioning is the ‘end game’ for field operations and timing of cease of production is a critical date in the life of field. It is essential that the value from a field or asset has been fully realised in the decommissioning planning stage and consideration is given to the options available for late life operations. There are many systems and technologies that assist in managing integrity and help improve production performance. This session covered remote operations & interventions, smart subsea technologies and data acquisition & analytics.
