An update on the Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP) since its launch almost a year ago as part of the Offshore Wind Sector Deal. The webinar covered activity so far and future plans.

The OWGP has been established to support growth of the UK supply chain.  A key part of this is diversification from parallel sectors in to offshore wind. There are many areas around subsea technology, inspection and survey that are applicable to offshore wind and we would like to encourage the subsea sector to engage with OWGP to find out how to get involved.

Andy Macdonald is the Programme Director at the Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP) and Senior Innovation Manager at Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult. These roles provide a combination of innovation support for high growth SMEs with business transformation support for the wider offshore wind supply chain.  Andy has worked in renewable energy for the last ten years helping to develop companies in the offshore wind and tidal energy sectors.
