Pathfinder Boosts Noordhoek Subsea Fleet

The new DPII ROV survey vessel Noordhoek Pathfinder has completed verification trials and its first offshore program, and is currently mobilizing for its second assignment.According to owner Noordhoek Survey, the vessel is designed for North Sea operations, and features a DPII dynamic positioning system, diesel-electric drive, a large moon pool, and a 25-metric ton (27.6-ton) offshore crane. It is also equipped with Work & Inspection Class ROV systems, side-scan sonar tow-fish, and McCartney Focus 2 ROTV systems.
The vessel’s main functions will be analogue/digital geophysical surveys, geotechnical investigation, hydrographic surveys, pipeline inspection, and IRM. Noordhoek operates two other DPII subsea support vessels, the Noordhoek Constructor and the Noordhoek Singapore.
