The North East of England subsea sector continues to grow its position as a centre of excellence in technology, engineering and manufacturing in the growing Blue Economy.

MISSION

The Subsea North East Executive Group champions the North East of England subsea sector locally, nationally and globally.

OBJECTIVES

Technology/Innovation
  • Showcase and promote our world-class innovation and technology
  • Connect companies, supply chain and universities to develop technology
Champion/Promote
  • Raise the profile of the NE England Subsea sector and companies locally, nationally and globally in our markets
  • Promote to politicians and government to influence strategy and investment
Collaborate/Support
  • Encourage collaboration (and healthy competition) between businesses in the region
  • Support the local supply chain and new start-ups
  • Co-operate with and support Global Underwater Hub, NOF Energy and Energi Coast to identify opportunities for promotion, skills, technology and diversification
Skills/Capabilities
  • Co-operate with regional education to develop, attract and support new talent into the sector
