RNLI volunteers provide a 24-hour lifeboat rescue service (UK and Ireland), seasonal lifeguard services and flood rescue. Since 1842 RNLI crews and lifeguards have saved over 142,700 lives. This last year alone, 38,713 people have been aided by the RNLI.
Connector Subsea Solutions provides engineered solutions to the offshore oil and gas market. Its people work offshore with the equipment CSS provide and the company has a good understanding of the harsh environments found offshore, and the associated danger of the sea.
CSS' Mark Fisher joined the RNLI in 1979 and since the age of 17 has been a dedicated volunteer with the Barry Dock Lifeboat Station.
To support the RNLI, Connector Subsea Solutions will be fundraising through the RNLI Reindeer Run 2020 – A festive run to save lives at sea.
Donations are made through the RNLI page via JustGiving, a dedicated online platform for charity donations.
Alternatively, please consider doing your Christmas shopping at the RNLI Shop where 100% of the profit goes to supporting the RNLI lifesaving work.
