CTC Marine Projects Announces Contract Award on the Wave Hub Development Project

CTC Marine Projects (a Member of Trico Marine Group) is delighted to announce the recent Contract Award for the provision of installation and trenching services in relation to the prestigious Wave Hub development.

CTC Marine is proud to be working with South West RDA (Regional Development Agency) on this pioneering renewable energy project. The project will allow Wave Energy Converter (WEC) developers the opportunity to test WEC arrays over several years in a fully monitored marine environment, and export their generated electricity to the local grid.

As previously announced by the Trico Marine Group, the circa £7 million contract will involve the load out and installation of a 25 kilometre armoured power cable from the landing point in Hayle, Cornwall to the offshore location. CTC Marine shall also utilise their comprehensive offshore experience to provide the associated survey works, trenching scope, and stabilisation of the cable.
