£17.5 million in grants is available and the expected grant amount per project will be in the £1-£2m range; or more if the project is an integrated demonstration involving two or more of the four themes.
The themes are:
- Mooring / Anchoring
- Dynamic cables
- Floaters / Foundations
- Industry defined innovation (other technology, not A, B or C)
- Integrated demonstration (any combination of two or more of the above)

KTN has also issued a briefing invite for the upcoming BEIS Floating Offshore Wind Demonstration Competition webinar on the 14th of April at 10-12.00.
The application deadline is the 18th of June and the grant award will be announced by Aug / Sept 2021.
