Aker to Provide Engineering Services for Noble Subsea Project

Engineering and construction services provider Aker Solutions has been awarded a subsea-equipment contract by US oil and gas company Noble Energy, worth approximately NOK150m (£16m).

The scope of work includes engineering, manufacturing and delivery of a subsea controls distribution system, umbilical termination assemblies (UTA) and related equipment.

The equipment, which is due to be delivered in the first quarter of 2011, will be used at Noble Energy’s Tamar project in the Mediterranean Sea.
