Delegates heard from John Bloomfield from Film-Ocean, an independent subsea contractor providing ROV inspection and intervention services. John detailed the range of services the firmís fleet of ROVs can offer, projects they recently worked on and the planned expansion of Film-Oceanís facilities in the latter part of the year.
Attendees also received an update on two of the Global Underwater Hubís current projects.
ē The Supply Chain Mapping programme to identify and outline categorised details of every UK-based supplier of commercial underwater products or services. It aims to open the supply chain to new market sectors and opportunities, while increasing competitiveness for purchasers.
ē In partnership with the Royal Navy and Babcock Nuclear, the Global Underwater Hub will hold a series of innovation calls during 2022. Launching in June 2022, the initiative seeks to identify technologies and techniques that can be transferred to the defence sector to increase operational uptime and reduce dry-docking.
The GUH Breakfast Club is FREE OF CHARGE - limited to two people per company.
