Scottish Government energy workers survey launched, now open to participants

03 August 2022

The Scottish Government is currently undertaking a summer of engagement with a wide range of stakeholders in the development of their Energy Strategy and Just Transition Plan (ESJTP). As part of this engagement, they have developed an online survey aimed at Energy workers in Scotland. A link can be found on their webpage here: How can you get involved - Scottish Government - Citizen Space (consult.gov.scot)

SURVEY AIMS
The aim of this survey is to help the Scottish Government better understand what the transition to reach net zero emissions means for people currently working in Scotland's energy sector. It is designed to capture the opinions and experiences of workers in different parts of the energy sector regarding the opportunities and challenges presented by the transition. All responses from the survey will be anonymous and will contribute to the evidence base for the development of the ESJTP.

CONTEXT AND PURPOSE
The survey forms part of a wider strand of digital engagement, which is all part of ensuring that all those impacted by the transition are able to contribute in some way to the development of the ESJTP and allow for their voices to be heard. More information of about this wider activity can be found on the Scottish Government webpage: Just Transition - Scottish Government - Citizen Space (consult.gov.scot)

TAKE THE SURVEY
The Survey will roughly take 10-15 minutes maximum to complete and is designed in such a way that allows respondents to complete the survey with ease and without a significant ask of their time.

The Survey is live, closing 26th of August 2022 at 15:00pm.
