KW Group: New order from California based customer

A brand new order has been received from a long-term customer of KW Group that has been developing and manufacturing subsea interconnect systems for over 40 years, components and assemblies that are designed for operating in harsh demanding environments.
An ASME U stamped breech lock closure pressure testing vessel will be designed in strict accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and manufactured to operate at over 1100 bar (15,954 psi) for high pressure simulation qualification testing the next generation of subsea products.
It’s essential that the experienced design team work closely with the customer at every stage of the design process, producing cost-effective hyperbaric pressure test systems that meet end-user specifications and go beyond expectations. Pressure systems designed to improve safety, speed and reliability, whilst harvesting essential test data.
A breech lock closure design is KW’s robust and efficient quick-acting closure that allows the operator to be able to safely and quickly access the pressure test chamber with a minimal amount of handling. The slim-line nature of the breech lock closure allows the body of the pressure vessel to remain slender providing a small workspace footprint.
Once the test chamber is designed and manufactured it will be hydro-tested by experienced test engineers within their purpose-built KW Pressure Testing facility and despatched to the west coast side of the USA.
