Skills Development Scotland in conjunction with Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce have announced The Flexible Workforce Development Fund, now open to all employers across Scotland, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The fund can be used to access flexible workforce development training opportunities to help address priority skills gaps and training needs.
Non-levy paying SMEs can access up to £5,000 of support (which can be split across staff members) while levy-paying employers can access up to £15,000.
Employers can access it once per academic year and have the option of using their local college, the Open University in Scotland or a private learning provider (administered through Skills Development Scotland).
