RIDE THE CAREER WAVE

The first in a new series of events from Global Underwater Hub that forms part of our inclusive new leadership community, the Energy Transition Leadership Network.

‘Oceans of Opportunity: Ride the career wave’ is aimed at those in the early to mid-phase of their career.  This evening event will discuss and debate how everyone can play a part in shaping the long-term career opportunities in the underwater industry – home to a diverse range of roles, based both onshore and offshore.

  • Are you motivated by technological, people and or strategic challenges?
  • Do you aim to be at the forefront of driving the underwater industry towards and beyond net-zero?
  • Are you interested in being part of big conversations about the long-term career opportunities offered by the underwater sectors and how you can shape their future?

If so, join us hear from a panel of industry professionals and share your own thoughts, experiences and ideas, and discuss how we, as an industry, can engage and retain the existing talent in the underwater sectors and harness their potential for a successful future.

Our knowledgeable and experienced panel of industry professionals will share their career stories, experiences and suggestions to help lead the conversation in the room.  The panel includes:
  • Dr Roy Bitrus, TenzorGEO
  • Ian Phillips, Energy Consultant
  • Beena Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, CCU International
  • Obo Idornigie, Vice President – Sub-Saharan Africa, Welligence
  • Donald MacLeod, Engineering and SHEQ Director, Boskalis

The evening is an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues working across this diverse sector and for you to play a part in shaping its future, as we all journey along the road to net-zero.

Arrive from 17:30 for a 18:00 start, with refreshments on arrival, and contribute to the conversations within this vibrant new community.
