Formerly Commercial Manager with Saipem UK Ltd, Sonsub Division, Millard joined DOF Subsea UK at the beginning of September and is responsible for managing the company's day to day operations which are focused on supporting developments in the UK, Mediterranean Sea and Africa. He will also play a key role in developing the business into a strong contracting, project management and engineering entity.

Millard succeeds former Managing Director, Ciaran O'Donnell who moves into a new role as DOF Subsea UK's Regional Manager for the UK, Atlantic and the Mediterranean, with responsibility for strategic planning and development for these regions.

Commenting on the appointment Ciaran O'Donnell says, “With 30 years' experience in the oil and gas industry including significant knowledge in commercial, contractual, IRM and construction project management Garry will be a real asset to the DOF Subsea team and will work closely with our clients to achieve their goals through the provision of superior world class services.”

Millard adds, “I've been watching the DOF Subsea Group with great interest over the past few years and have seen the company evolve both organically and through acquisition. All the pieces are now in place to build a successful global contracting, engineering and project management company and I'm delighted to be part of the team that will be instrumental in achieving this goal.”

DOF Subsea currently owns the largest and most modern fleet of subsea construction vessels in the world. Including vessels and ROVs that are under construction as part of the company's extensive new build programme, DOF Subsea owns 25 offshore vessels, 31 ROV systems, 1 AUV system, and diving spreads.
