Ashtead Technology Expands into the Middle East

World leading marine rental company, Ashtead Technology, has appointed Emphor FZCO, a well established Dubai based technology solutions provider to represent the Offshore Division in the Middle East region.

Emphor will provide Ashtead Technology's full equipment rental fleet, incorporating Positioning Equipment, ROV Sensors, Hydrographic and Geophysical Equipment and IRM and Diving Equipment to customers in the region. A calibration facility, technical workshop and support facilities (with 24 hour technical support) as well as a training centre will also be provided from the Emphor facilities.

Ashtead Technology see the appointment of Emphor as a significant step in their plans for geographical growth. Ashtead Technology Managing Director, Mark Derry said “This agreement will allow us to offer enhanced support to existing and new customers in the region. Supporting the entire Middle East region, Emphor has operations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha and have ISO 9001 accreditation. The territory covered by the agreement includes, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq and Iran.
