Technip Granted Contract For Mariscal Sucre Dragon Development

Technip said it has been granted an engineering, procurement, construction management contract by Petroleos de Venezuela SA for the Mariscal Sucre Dragon/Patao development, offshore the North-east coast of Venezuela.

The contract covers project management and construction management for the Dragon platform and subsea system fabrication, transportation and installation, detail engineering for the platform and subsea tieback to the Dragon field. The platform will be installed in approximately 427 feet of water depth, procurement of long lead equipment and procurement services for the platform.

Technip France has signed the contract, which will be executed with the Group's North America's engineering center and Technip's Venezuelan affiliate, Estudios y Projectos Ditech, S.A.
