Mearsk & Andrew Palmer Associates (Penspen) Sign Three Year Subsea Design Agreement

Maersk Oil North Sea UK Limited (Maersk Oil) has selected Andrew Palmer & Associates, part of The Penspen Group, to act as its primary provider of subsea design services over the next three years. As part of a comprehensive framework agreement signed recently, Andrew Palmer & Associates will provide Concept Studies, FEED and Detailed Design of Subsea Infrastructure and Pipelines for both new and existing developments.

Penspen’s success in securing this contract could create up to an additional 10 positions in their Aberdeen office, and, depending on project approvals, have a value of £3 - 5 million.

The agreement will last for an initial three years with options for two 1 year extensions.
