Inspectahire Heading Down Under

22 February 2011

Aberdeen-based inspection company Inspectahire will showcase its services at a major oil & gas exhibition in Western Australia this week as it looks to increase its operations in the country.

Held in Perth, the Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference (AOG) runs from 23-25 February and is the largest oil & gas exhibition in Australia, attracting over 9,000 visitors from all areas of the oil & gas industry.

Inspectahire, which is one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist inspection services to companies worldwide, has identified the Australian market as offering huge potential for its future growth and has recently appointed a key member of staff, who will be based in Perth, to drive this growth.

Cailean Forrester, managing director, said: “AOG provides Inspectahire with an ideal platform to illustrate to the Australasian market our capabilities and experience. Our decision to locate a member of staff in Western Australia underlines our commitment to increasing the level of business which we do in the region.

“The opportunities in the Australian market are not limited to the oil & gas sector. The country has a large and important mining industry and many of the services that we offer have a good fit with this sector. Because our inspection equipment and services are so adaptable, they can be used in many sectors.”

Inspectahire will be among a number of other Scottish businesses exhibiting at the event as part of a pavilion organised by Scottish Development International.
