Qserv, the specialist well, process and pipeline service company headquartered in Aberdeen, will exhibit together with Aker Well Service for the first time at this week's ICoTA European Well Intervention Round Table at the AECC in Aberdeen.

Earlier this year, Qserv entered into an agreement with Aker Solutions to become a wholly owned subsidiary of Aker Well Service. Both companies are built on the philosophy of delivering a world-class performance and service based on two main key components – ‘people and equipment'.

Qserv will be showcasing its recently launched Ultra Heavy Duty Wireline Fishing Service, which can deliver a cost-effective alternative to a well workover. Aker Well Service will be demonstrating the workings of various tractor logging tools.

The 14th SPE ICoTA Round Table is Europe's principal forum for exchange and discussion of the latest developments in completion and intervention techniques and coiled tubing technology.

Ciaran Dreelan, Qserv's well services director said this will be a milestone occasion for both companies: “The ICoTA conference encompasses the full range of well intervention practices and the latest technologies and we are delighted to be jointly showcasing our latest equipment and services with Aker Well Service. Representatives from both companies will be available on stands 14 and 15, during the two-day event.”
