Farstad Charter Hat-Trick

Offshore vessel operator Farstad Shipping has secured charter deals for three of its vessels.

The subsea vessel Far Saga has gained a six-month firm contract with Subsea 7 in Norway, starting immediately and with an option for a further 15 months.

Shell has chartered the anchor-handling tug supply vessel Far Sabre on a five-month firm contract in Brazil for immediate start-up, with three one-month extension options.

Also in Brazil, state-owned oil company Petrobras has exercised an option to extend its contract for AHTS Far Scout for a further 144 days.

The total value of the contracts, excluding options, is about Nkr105 million ($18.7 million).
