Subsea 7 Takes on Two More Triton XLX ROVs

Subsea 7 has purchased two Perry Triton XLX ROV systems from Forum Energy Technologies for use on the Grant Candies construction vessel. This brings Subsea 7’s fleet of Perry ROVs to a total of four.

The Triton XLX is powered by a single hydraulic power unit consisting of a Sub-Atlantic 150 hp/200 hp and is designed to accommodate upgrades for 250 hp applications. The XLX also has the ICE proprietary control system.
