Petrobras Gives GE $120m Service Agreement for Subsea Equipment

Petrobras has given GE Oil and Gas a four year service agreement to deliver repairs, maintenance and retrofits on Petrobras' fleet of subsea equipment in the Campos Basin offshore Brazil.The agreement covers over 300 exploration tools and 250 production tools.
The contract is worth approx $120m and covers service, repairs, and retrofitting 6 subsea production trees each year with advanced GE control systems.
GE will provide the service from its Macaé Service Center in Rio de Janeiro state, a 91,000 m2 facility which is undergoing a $30m refurbishment. Over 200 people are employed there.
