FGRL Launches New Website

31 August 2011

Fugro GRL, the leader in subsea simulation and visualisation, is launching a totally redeveloped website at www.fugrogrl.com. The new website covers all aspects of FGRL’s business with up-to-date material and video footage of DeepWorks software in action, along with information on the range of associated support services including modelling, advanced tool prototyping and ROV console integration.

This interactive site provides prospects, customers and potential employees with new features, higher quality content and comprehensive information on products, services, latest news and customer experiences. The improved site navigation, and access to content and simulation videos will help users to understand the capabilities available.

The new site features a clean, modern design, creating an intuitive experience for the user that eliminates unnecessary links and clicks. The new layout and navigation, which will be familiar to many Fugro customers, makes the online customer experience richer and offers easier access to the Fugro corporate website for information about other subsea services.

In the new Track Record section, visitors can read about key projects that delivered significant business benefits. Having been at the forefront of technological innovation for 23 years Fugro GRL has a wide range of successful projects for visitors to scrutinise including towed-cable arrays, submarine rescue, advanced NDT tooling and most recently a cut planning tool for platform decommissioning.

Visitors can also now visit a new downloads page from where they can try the free ReplayViewer to run recorded DeepWorks simulations on their own PC. More than just a video, these replay files give users the freedom to view simulations from any perspective, effectively allowing them to jump into the movie! Sample DeepWorks replay files are provided to show what can be simulated in advance of a mission or played back from live mission monitoring.

"We are delighted to move to our clearer and simpler website which offers visitors a wider range of information and resources,” said Dr Jason Tisdall, Managing Director of Fugro General Robotics Ltd. "Pleasingly this directly reflects our software in which clarity and ease of use is paramount."

www.fugrogrl.com goes live from August 31, 2011
