Subsea 7 Wins Sealines Deal
28 September 2011
Subsea 7 has tied up a $465 million contract for sealines offshore Nigeria but
has remained mum on much of the detail.
The contract was awarded for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of sealines, the company said in a short announcement.
However, the company did not name their client, while indicating it was a "major shallow water development.”
Subsea 7 plans to start detailed engineering work on the project immediately, it said.
Offshore installation, using Subsea 7’s Acergy Polaris pipelay vessel, would start in the third quarter of 2013, the company said.
