Total E&P Announces Extension to North Sea Contract

Total E&P has announced that it is to extend its contact for AGR's Riserless Mud Recovery system by a further four years.

The company, which is one of the largest operators currently working in the North Sea, stated that it will be completing the extension, which will be worth around £4.5 million.

As a result, the partnership between the two companies will now continue to July 2015. The companies first worked together in 2006 and have the new extension comes from an earlier agreement made in 2009.

The multi-well deal will also include the use of the firm's Cutting Transportation System.

David Hine, executive vice-president of AGR's enhanced drilling solutions team, said: "We're delighted with the continued commitment to our technologies and services by Total E&P UK."
