Australian Offshore Construction Project for Fugro

Fugro-TSM, Australia, has been awarded the Greater Western Flank (GWF) Phase 1 Project subsea installation contract from Woodside Energy (Australia). The contract value is in excess of AUD 100 million, with engineering and design work for the project beginning immediately, leading to a peak in offshore installation in early 2014 using the dynamically positioned multi-role vessel, the Southern Ocean.

The North West Shelf Project will beoperated by WoodsideEnergy. With partners, the development of the first phase of the Greater Western Flank (GWF) Project off the north-west coast of Australia is to start. The GWF Phase 1 Project will develop the Goodwyn GH and Tidepole fields, via a subsea tie-back to the existing Goodwyn A platform and represents the next major development for the North West Shelf Project.
