$100m Contract Awarded to Subsea 7
11 April 2012
Subsea 7 has landed a hundred million dollar contract from Suncor for work on the Terra Nova field. The contract, which will be operated entirely from Subsea 7's growing Canadian base, covers the management, engineering and installation of nine 300 metre replacement risers and associated flowlines, jumpers and tie-ins. Subsea 7's St John's office will immediately begin to perform all engineering and project management requirements, with offshore operations due to commence this summer utilising Subsea 7's world-class construction and diving vessels. Subsea 7's growth strategy for its engineering and project services in St John's is now underway and will be supported by a significant increase in personnel in the coming years.
