Subsea 7 Awards EPC Contract to Bergen Group

Norwegian offshore services firm Bergen Group reported that its subsidiary Bergen Group Rosenberg has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract by Subsea 7.

The EPC-contract includes delivery of a two-slots subsea manifold located at the Alvheim field, operated by Marathon Oil Norge. The planning and engineering activities started up in 2011, and the project is due for completion in 3Q 2012.

"The subsea market is significant and growing both on the Norwegian continental shelf and internationally, with great potential for Bergen Group Offshore. Our proven track record and previous experience has enabled us to offer a fast track solution", said Bergen Group Executive Vice President Kristin Færøvik.
