Call for Papers Launched for 'All Systems Go' All Energy 2013

Set against the background of a rush of exhibition space reservations, the Call for Papers for All-Energy 2013, the UK’s largest renewable energy exhibition and conference organised by Reed Exhibitions Ltd, has now been launched. All-Energy 2013, the thirteenth in the annual series, will be held 22-23 May at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, Aberdeen, UK. As ever, the major exhibition, world-class conference and Giant Networking Evening are free of charge to attend for all with a business/professional interest in renewable energy.
"We’re in really good shape for All-Energy 2013,” says Jonathan Heastie, Renewable & Alternative Energy Global Group Exhibition Director. "Currently nearly 150% more space has been contracted by exhibitors than at this time last year. Not surprisingly considering 94% of exhibitors said they were satisfied with the event, and 87% said they were likely to exhibit at All-Energy 2013, we are seeing a great many of those previous exhibitors returning, but around 14% are companies new to the show including SKF UK Ltd, Schäffler and Trelleborg Sealing Systems.
"Additionally, our lists of people eager to be informed when visitor registration opens grows apace – it all goes to prove that All-Energy is where busy people in the renewables world go to do business.
"Our sector-specific trails launched in 2012 to help visitors pre-plan their visit and to ensure ever-greater footfall from relevant customers/prospective customers for exhibitors have now been extended to a dozen; and in addition to our offshore wind and operations and maintenance, and business energy management seminar areas, we have added a third – wave and tidal. We’re looking forward too to seeing an extended low carbon vehicle area outside the show as a result of this year’s interest.
"The new-look All-Energy website offers a far greater level of interactivity for exhibitors. We know they will relish the benefits of being able to be ‘virtual exhibitors’, thanks to a part of the site that goes live in November that will provide them with in-depth exposure six months before the show is held – from basic information to videos, newsletters and sales literature they can build an extensive profile.”
All-Energy 2012, held in Aberdeen in May, attracted a total attendance of 8,322 from 49 countries; 580 exhibiting companies from 19 countries, and over 300 speakers taking part in the major multi-stream conference and show-floor seminar theatres. The show got off to a flying start with keynote addresses by Alex Salmond MSP, First Minister of Scotland, Charles Hendry MP, then Minister of State for Energy at DECC, Keith Anderson, Chief Corporate Officer, ScottishPower, David Gartside a Board Member of the Health and Safety Executive, and with contributions from David Blunt of Gamesa Wind UK, Huub den Rooijen of The Crown Estate, and Dr Graham Cooley of ITM Power, the conference then divided into seven parallel sessions. In 2013 plenary sessions are planned for the start of each day.

even better in 2013! You can help us do that by thinking hard about what you
can contribute to the event,” says Judith Patten, Project Director (Conference

"Now’s the time to think who you would like to hear speak – and about what; and if you would like to be considered as a speaker at All-Energy 2013, to submit a brief abstract (up to 300 words – without illustrations) by 30 November 2012.”

All-Energy is where the sectors of which the renewable energy industry is
comprised have the opportunity to speak with one voice. It is where all
renewables come under the conference spotlight, and are represented in the
major exhibition. On an annual basis the show promotes the advancement of
renewable energy, and associated clean technology, in all its forms (with
energy management added to the mix most recently) by engaging the political,

Scotland is the ideal place for the show, with its aim to generate the equivalent of 100% of its electricity needs from renewables by 2020; and Aberdeen ‘The Energy City’ helps to demonstrate not only the enthusiasm for and commitment to renewable energy, but the synergy between its long associated oil and gas sector and newer energy forms.
All-Energy, held in Aberdeen since 2001, has two ‘sister events’ – All-Energy Australia (Melbourne, 10-11 October 2012), and the newly launched All-Energy Canada scheduled to take place for the first time in Toronto in October 2013.
