DOF gets $50M Asia, Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico Work

Norwegian offshore engineer Dof ASA said Wednesday it has secured multiple contract awards in Asia, in the Atlantic and in the Gulf of Mexico over the last couple of weeks with a total contract value of about $50 million.

-In the Asia Pacific Region DOF Subsea has secured several new contracts and the extension of existing contracts with a total contract value of about $20 million.

-The contract will increase the utilisation of vessels Geobay, Skandi Singapore and Skandi Hercules.

-In the Atlantic region DOF Subsea has been awarded several new contracts and the extension of existing contracts with a total contract value of $24 million.

-The contract award will increase the utilisation of vessels Geosund, Skandi Skolten and Geoholm.

-In the Gulf of Mexico DOF Subsea has been awarded a new Survey contract with Saipem America for the pre-lay survey support of Saipem's CastorOne 2013 installation campaign.

-The contract has a duration of about 2 months with start-up early Jan. 2013 and the contract value is about $6 million. The vessel Geoholm will be utilised.

-At 0711 GMT shares traded 1.2% higher at NOK25.
