KD Marine Launches New Website

KD Marine is proud to announce that they have launched a new website this week.

The website has been designed by Stonehaven based Web Integrations, the same company that had developed the ‘old’ website.

For this update the content management system SilverStripe, which is used by businesses and organisations throught the world, has been chosen. SilverStripe is the preferred choice due to its speed, efficiency and ease of use. In addition to this it allows for easy integration with social networking plugins, which is something KD Marine has recently started using to help increase brand awareness.

KD Marine Managing Director, Hamish Petersen, said: " We worked with Web Integrations on our previous website and they did a fantastic job back then, at first I did not feel the need to have a new website but after I saw what they had come up with and what benefits having it could bring it was an easy decision”.

The launch of the redeveloped website comes after a busy period for KD Marine as recent offshore projects have all been completed within the last couple months. The new website will be put to good use as another marketing tool while competing for more work leading into next year.

Mark Beadie, Business Development Manager, talked about the website: "This is something I wanted to work on when I started in my position with KD Marine, the ‘old’ website had fallen a little behind the times and just needed to look at bit fresher, while some of the content that was there needed to be updated. We felt that the website did not match the first class service we provide as a contractor and wanted to bring it in line so that we have consistancy with our corporate image.”
