28 November 2012

Shell Upstream International Europe has awarded Subsea 7 an extension of two underwater services contracts.

This comes into effect in 2014 and will run through 2016. Value to Subsea 7 is about $360 million.

Under the contracts, the company provides subsea construction, inspection, repair, maintenance, and decommissioning services across Shell’s European offshore fields and facilities, using the dedicated ROV/IRM/dive support vessels Normand Subsea and Seven Atlantic.

Shell U.K. has awarded MacLean Electrical Group in Aberdeen a new five-year contract with a two-year extension option.

This involves providing electrical products, including for hazardous areas and harsh environments, to meet Shell’s maintenance, repair, and operational requirements for its UK offshore and onshore exploration and process facilities.
