Apollo's Growth Mission
06 March 2013
The Aberdeen arm of engineering design and analysis service company Apollo Offshore Engineering has relocated to larger premises as its UK business continues to grow apace and increase its visibility within the oil and gas engineering supply chain.
Apollo remains in Aberdeen’s Waterloo Quay but has relocated from Navigator House to the much larger premises of Nautilus House which comfortably accommodates the existing team of 30 staff, and will allow for projected growth in Aberdeen based staff numbers to upwards of 50 in 2015.
Commenting on the announcement Operations Director Ryan Menzies said; "The management of sustainable growth is our focus at Apollo. In addition to the development of our Aberdeen facility, we are also experiencing high demand in the South East of England which is putting sufficient growth pressure on our London and Nottingham teams to require expansion in that region before the summer, and excitingly Apollo is on track to open its first international office later this year”.
Apollo grew impressively in the last financial year to September 2012 by increasing revenues some 400%. With UK wide staff numbers now approaching 35 the ambitious outfit, headed by Managing Director Jonathan D’Arcy, is on target to double turnover to over £3M this financial year, which is in line with a domestic and international growth plan to employ 100 staff and generate profitable revenues of £10M by end 2015.
