The Caithness Solution

28 October 2014
Venue: Caithness

The Caithness and North Sutherland Regeneration Partnership (CNSRP) organised an event to allow companies to better understand the Investment and Supply Chain opportunities in the Caithness area.

This one day programme, which took place in October 2014, was for Oil and Gas companies who either needed capacity for servicing the West of Shetland / Atlantic Frontier opportunities, or wanted to explore the excellent skills base in the area.

Attendees were welcomed by Gail Ross, Civic Leader of Caithness, and given a tour of the airport and new hangar facilities for helicopter transfers, as well as JGC Engineering and Technical Services in Janetstown. After lunch, delegates were welcomed back by the Caithness Chamber of Commerce and visited the Engineering, Technology and Energy Centre.

Presentations were also given throughout the day, covering Wick Harbour, Scrabster Harbour, and Subsea 7. These presentations are available for download below.
