Mat Youkee, who is the Trade Development Manager based in the British Embassy in Bogota is going to be visiting Aberdeen in December and would be interested in meeting companies who are looking to do business in Colombia.

"This year marks a significant departure for the Colombian offshore oil sector, with three deepwater wells expected to be drilled by the end of 2014. Offshore exploration in Colombia has previously been limited, but new fiscal terms have positioned the country as one of the most competitive jurisdictions in the market and the government have committed to boosting dwindling reserves through a focus on deepwater targets.
