Sarah Hutcheon, Project Services Manager, is enthusiastic about the importance of staff development, even in the current financial climate: "Both courses are essential to the industry, required for all people going offshore in the roles mentioned. CSL’s team of industry experts has been providing these courses for a number of years, and we are delighted to be offering them again in 2015. We understand that budgets are tight, and we believe that our courses offer excellent quality and good value for money when it comes to this important training qualification.”
The Knowledge of UK Legislation and HSE – Awareness course is designed to meet the requirements of the ‘Knowledge of Legislation’ and ‘Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness’ competences in relation to Offshore Subsea Construction, Diving and ROV Operations as recommended in the Oil & Gas UK (UKOOA) document, Offshore Operations Committee Guidance on Client Representative Competence. It provides ‘INS’ level competence, as defined in the guidance document.
HSE and Worksite Representative Roles Responsibilities and Recommended Practice is based on the main legislation, codes, and regulations for the subsea environment including Oil & Gas UK (UKOOA) Guidance on Client Representative Competence and instruction of application of Recommended Practices.
