
North-east Manufacturing Firm Hopes to Elevate its Business Success

A leading North-east marine equipment specialist is celebrating after reaching the final stages in a prestigious North-east business award.Motive Offshore Group, has been shortlisted as a finalist in this year’s Elevator Awards 2015, formerly known as the Grampian Awards for Business Excellence, in the Business Success Over Three Years category.
The group, which is headquartered in Boyndie, near Banff, in Aberdeenshire, was first launched in 2010 and has continued to experience exceptional business success, expanding its presence both in the UK and internationally.
Motive Offshore, which is one of the leading marine equipment specialists in the industry, now has more than 100 employees, with two additional facilities in Aberdeen city centre and Stavanger in Norway, and has ambitious growth plans for 2015.

Motive Offshore Group, which specialises in high capacity winches, umbilical deployment equipment and specialised subsea equipment, has recently restructured comprising of two key operating companies, Motive Engineering and Motive Rentals, to strengthen its offerings for clients in the UK and internationally. The firm has launched its new branding and marketing with a new strapline, People. Product. Performance, to reflect the firm’s overall business vision.
Winners of the awards, which are organised by Elevator and headline sponsors, RBS - Ahead for Business, will be announced during the black tie awards gala ceremony, which will take place on Thursday 25 June 2015 at the Mercure Aberdeen Ardoe House Hotel and Spa.
