
EIC Announces Export Showcase for Potential Suppliers to Saudi Aramco

Aramco is a subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, the world’s leading energy company, providing solutions and strategic alliances across Europe, South America, Africa and India and providing a vital link between Europe and Saudi Aramco in terms of procurement, engineering, R&D and contracting.Saudi Aramco, the state-owned oil and gas company of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the world’s top exporter of crude oil and natural gas liquids; with solid traction in the upstream market, the company is now looking to expand activities along the entire petroleum value chain. Their current project portfolio includes some of the largest of the Kingdom’s oil & gas investments and via EICDataStream, the EIC’s project tracking database, over 50 projects with a combined CAPEX of $137.4bn are being tracked, offering a multitude of opportunities for the supply chain.
The EIC’s Aramco Supplier Initiative aims to inform new and existing suppliers of the prospects available to them on global operations and projects, as well as providing information on further scope for involvement with the company, including potential opportunities for UK suppliers to become a registered and approved manufacturer, to localize manufacturing and services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to partner in the development of new technologies and to host engineering interns.
