Mexico: New Deadlines for the 3rd Invitation to Bid

The National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH) announced some adjustments to the key dates of the Third Invitation to Bid for the Award of License Contracts for the Extraction of Hydrocarbons. The details are described below:

Release of final Guidelines / September 10th
Period for requesting access to Data Room / August 28th
Visits to Contractual Areas / October 2nd
First Clarification Stage / August 24th
Second Clarification Stage / September 7th
Third Clarification Stage / November 5th
Inscription (payment) / September 4th
Review of the Prequalification documents / November 13th
Prequalified Bidders listing publication / November 18th
Deadline for submission of authorisation request to the CNH to incorporate new non-prequalified financial partners into the Bidders’ structure / November 27th
Deadline for submission of authorisation request to the CNH to modify the Bidders’ structure / December 3rd
Deadline for the CNH to authorize the incorporation or modification of the Bidders’ structure / December 11th
The Commissioners noted as well that presently there are 53 Oil Companies interested in the Third Bidding Process, and 37 of them are Mexican Companies.
