Aleron Subsea, a specialist ROV refurbishment, upgrade, Sales and Rental Company is happy to announce the acquisition of ROVQUIP, an Aberdeenshire based ROV tooling manufacturer. The acquisition worth around 1.2 million is part of a strategic growth plan for the company.
The acquisition of ROVQUIP further expands the product and service offering of Aleron Subsea adding specialist tooling to the products range which will include ROV skids, BOP shut down systems, cutters, water jetters, IHPU’s and much more as the range develops. ROVQUIP are also specialists in engineering custom solutions to fix unavoidable unique problems offshore and have a vast range of expertise to support this.
Established in 2010 by Mike Bisset, Aleron currently has 8 work class ROV systems, and offers full contract support for the supply, service and maintenance of complete ROV systems and their associated equipment. Aleron also manufacture their own range of ROV components including thrusters, compensators and intelligent hydraulic valve packs.
