Bryan Hildrew Apprentice of the Year Award

Bryan Hildrew Apprentice of the Year Award

08 April 2016

Put yourself forward and be recognised for your achievements. It's easy to apply and you could win £1,500.

Apprenticeships are becoming increasingly popular and are now a viable alternative to attending university.

The Apprentice of the Year Award recognises the achievements of our Apprentice Affiliate members, and the contribution they make to the engineering sector, industry and the wider economy.

What is the awards criteria?

Entrants must demonstrate outstanding commitment to their professional development, and show how they have made a positive difference to their company. They should have gone above and beyond their normal duties by taking on extra responsibilities. Any charity or voluntary work is relevant, especially related to engineering and encouraging young people into engineering. Apprentices must also show a career plan for the next three to five years.

You can nominate yourself or be nominated by a sponsor from your company or training provider/college.

What will I win?

The winner will receive an educational grant of £1,500 to support their career development. The winner will receive their prize at the Institutions’ Vision Awards in September 2016.

All highly commended entrants will receive a certificate. The winner and highly commended entrants will also be featured in promotional activity in the form of case studies, photos and web stories.

Am I eligible to apply?
