Subsea 7's Towhead Movements Continue in Wick

Subsea 7 continued its massive operation of moving towheads through Wick as part of a multi-million-pound project.

Thursday morning saw the latest movement to the firm’s site at Bridge of Wester as part of its £324 million Premier Catcher deal.

Police closed off streets at Scalesburn, Willowbank, Girnigoe Street, Henrietta Street and George Street ahead of the operation.

Subsea 7 will move the final towhead on Sunday when the exact timing will depend on how police direct proceedings.
