Industry Engagement Event for Subsea CoE – Potential Offshore Test Facilities

NSRI, on behalf of Scottish Enterprise, are testing the appetite of the subsea industry for a proposed, new underwater test and development facility.  Scottish Enterprise are examining how they can support our industry in this challenging period brought about low oil price, which is affecting many of us as product and service suppliers to that industry.  We have an industry that is recognised as world class. Scottish Enterprise are seeking ways to ensure that we continue to anchor that capability in the UK, safeguarding companies, jobs and positioning us for the future which will have an increasing reliance on exports.

NSRI will be holding an engagement session in Newcastle at the Malmaison Hotel on 20th September 2016. At this event NSRI will be outlining the proposed facilities form and function in more detail and will walk you through completion of the questionnaire. The closing date for the submission of questionnaires is 24 September 2016.

The engagement sessions will run

SESSION A: 08:30 – 10:30
SESSION B: 11:30 – 13:30
SESSION C: 14:30 – 16:30
