CENSIS will be exhibiting at Stand 101 at this week's Subsea Expo 2017 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.

Subsea Expo is the world's largest subsea exhibition and conference and is completely free to attend. Registration gives you access to the exhibition and all of the conference sessions.

Stand 39: Scotland Japan Subsea Partnership

The Scotland Japan Subsea Partnership (SJSP) has been formed by four industry/academic organisations to revitalise Japan's ocean market in cooperation with Scotland:

•    Japan Project-Industry Council (JAPIC)
•    Engineering Advancement Association of Japan (ENAA)
•    Japan Ship Machinery and Equipment Association (JSMEA)
•    Japan Society of Next Generation Sensor Technology (JISEDAI)

Working alongside Scottish Development International at Subsea Expo on Stand 39, SJSP welcomes enquiries from supply chain companies in Scotland who are interested in the Japanese subsea market.

The companies visiting Scotland for Subsea Expo:

•   Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding: Interested in meeting technology/product companies for help with development of subsea vehicles and offshore services business streams.
•   Yokogawa Electric: Looking to partner on the development of subsea/offshore monitoring capabilities.
•   Kawasaki Heavy Industries: Planning AUV sea trials in Autumn 2017 at the Underwater centre in Fort William. Welcomes interest from Scottish supply chain companies as part of this activity with a view to future development opportunities.
•   Taiko: Looking for partner with experience of API pumps.
•   Japan Society of Next Generation Sensor Technology (JISEDAI)
•   Japan Ship Machinery & Equipment Association (JSMEA)
•   Shimadzu
•   Nagasaki University
•   Yokohama City
•   City of Kobe

There are opportunities to meet JISEDAI and JSMEA during the show. The organisations will be promoting the opportunities for Scottish companies to collaborate with their member companies in Japan; between them they represent 300 companies in Japan.
