As part of its plan to provide customers with a range of high-level project management and engineering consultancy services from field development to decommissioning, InterAct PMTI, an Acteon company, has made two new appointments at its Houston office – Wes J. Spincic and Andrew Wainright.

Spincic has been appointed vice-president, well operations and intervention. He has over 30 years’ exploration, drilling and production experience, including 10 years as founder, president and chief executive officer of an international project management and engineering company. During this time, he also founded Cheyenne Oil and Gas and led the first engineering team into Western Siberia. Most recently, he was vice president, operations for Maritech Resources, managing drilling, production and decommissioning activities.

Wainright joins as project manager; he has more than 30 years’ subsea construction and topside design experience and will handle offshore and subsea construction, installation and decommissioning projects. He has also worked for major engineering contractors on a variety of floating and fixed topside facilities.

The appointments further expand InterAct’s Houston office to service both domestic and international projects building upon the skills of new, yet highly experienced, staff. This will enable InterAct to provide customers with an even more wide-ranging service.

Andrew will report to John Seeger, Houston general manager, while Wes will report to Tom Kennedy, president, InterAct PMTI. He said, “Both Andrew and Wes bring a wealth of industry experience; not only technically, but also through their professional reputations across the industry.

“By combining Wes and Andrew’s experience with our existing overall marine construction and drilling background, we can truly offer clients a full service approach to field development.”
