CodaOctopus Awarded Contract for Echoscope Real Time 3D Sonar System by Boskalis

CodaOctopus has announced a contract award from Baggermaatschappij Boskalis by which further expands the rapidly growing Echoscope 3D real-time imaging sonar customer base. The sonar, built on patented Echoscope™ technology, will be used by Boskalis in their worldwide construction, dredging, engineering and coastal protection projects. It provides the capability to visualize, in zero visibility conditions, the subsea environment in 3 dimensions and to make real time measurements without the need for post-processing of data. Ultimately their investment in this unique technology will make Boskalis' projects safer and more efficient.

Identifying the 3D visualization capabilities of the Echoscope system, Sjoerd van den Brom, Survey Manager, commented, “At Boskalis we are continually investigating new, innovative and leading-edge technologies.
