International Sealing Firm Eyes Growth with Corporate Rebrand

Arefco Special Products Limited, the Ashington-based global sealing company, has changed its name to UTEX Industries UK Limited, aligning its brand with that of its parent company, the American headquartered UTEX Industries Inc.
 
The newly renamed UTEX Industries UK will continue to service clients, primarily oil & gas, industrial, water, mining & mass transit sectors. Its capabilities include design and manufacture of elastomeric, fabric reinforced, engineered thermoplastic and metallic seals, rubber to metal bonding, in-house tooling and complex metallic component manufacture.  The UK company was founded in 1978 and was acquired by Texas-based global sealing systems manufacturer, UTEX in 2011.  UTEX Industries Inc. was founded in 1940, currently employs over 600 people and has a global manufacturing footprint with facilities in North America, UK & Asia.
 
The rebrand was prompted by the firm’s strategic initiatives and in support of the energy industry’s efficiency-led revival, facilitating global brand awareness of UTEX Industries Inc.
