MMT charters Olympic Subsea vessel

Swedish subsea player will use vessel for ROV surveys in Bay of Biscay.

MMT Sweden AB says it has taken Norwegian shipowner Olympic Subsea’s 5,395-gt DP2 survey/offshore support vessel Olympic Delta (built 2015) on longterm charter to meet increasing demand for its ROV survey services.

The company did not specify the duration of the charter of the vessel, which it describes as one of the most modern and advanced ship in its segment.

The vessel will be equipped with a Surveyor Inceptor ROV vehicle, which MMT has acquired together with partner Reach Subsea.
