The underwater vehicle market operates in a wide range of sectors including oil and gas, offshore renewables, marine science, aquaculture, deep-sea mining and defence.

Many of the industry challenges are similar across sectors, with the underlying goal of achieving cost efficiency in operations. How that cost efficiency or value add is measured varies from sector to sector, and this event will look at some of the main drivers and technology developments that are affecting industry.

There is much discussion around on how we are embracing "digitalisation” within operations and this will be an important development in the evolution of underwater vehicles and the associated technologies
